France/Brittany
Brittany is an indepentent kingdom and duchy today, and also a province of France. It is the one of the six Celtic Nations. In 56 BC the area was conquered by the Romans under Julius Caesar. Brittany is known for its calvaries, carved sculptures of crucifixion scenes, to be found especiallly in the west of Brittany. France is a country located in Europe. It is known for its architectures and landscapes. France is highly densified with the old architecture such as the city of Paris or the Centre of Troyes. It is a highly developed country as well. The Carolingians ruled France until 987, when Hugh Capet, Duke of France and Count of Paris, was crowned King of France. The monarchy ruled France until the French Revolution, in 1789.
